Two years ago, four friends (Brendan, Bart, Billy, and Jon), got together ina basement in Peoria, Il and covered some pixies songs. And then they covered some GBV, Sonic Youth, and Pavement. And that was all pretty good. But the real goodness came when they started to put together their own songs and began playing out and about in Central Illinois.
One year later we all moved to Chicago, picked up our buddy Will, and began playing shows around this fine town. Some venues we've played at are Subterranean, The Transmission Gallery, Big Horse Lounge, and Gunther Murphy's. We also play all around Central Illinois and Wisconsin.
What sets us apart? Well, we're all goofy looking, except for Jon, he's a hottie. And we own homemade penguin costumes. And we once played on a stage that creed played on. Side note: We don't sound like creed.
