With years of collective sorrow, triumph and musical experience, Lauren Walley and Richard Paul Davis combine to make the core of Blackfoot Caroline. Lauren Walley's unrivaled voice is filled with warmth and richness that is accented and "completed" or filled out with the distinct and road rugged vocals of Richard Paul Davis.
Their sound is as diverse as the American music that they draw their inspiration from. From lowly "boot strap" saloon rock to introspective duets and ballads woven with clever word play, their approach to songwriting follows how almost every person experiences life. The ups, the downs, the crazy mood swings of love. Songs that are poignant, others that express day to day trials, and others that are as tongue in cheek as a shared laugh around a dorm room. Their material is just as easy and comfortable at a campfire as it is in an arena.
Lauren is an award winning vocalist and songwriter that was recently acknowledged by the company Chevrolet, and one of her original songs will appear in an upcoming ad campaign for the car company. Richard is an acclaimed songwriter and has received airplay and accolades in five countries.He has four albums to his credit and several movie scores for award winning films.
