Bio
Black Gold 360 are an extremely modern 6 piece Dirty Electronic Jazz Band.
Beluga Recordings label owner Simon Sixsmith couldn't decide between his 2 great loves: Jazz or Electronica.
So he made a filthy grooving brew of them both by inviting five battle-hardened jazz musicians into his studio.
Three albums followed along with widespread acclaim from the press.
Now these 6 hungry men have finally left the comfort of a city-centre studio to prove it can be done live
- the jazz - the electronics - the dirt - a very modern sound dragged up from the underground and exhibited in public.
Oh and hey they have an award-winning VJ who projects onto drummer Bob's bass drum.
The future of this band is clear:
Extreme exhaustion caused by a big fat load of gigs and then back to the studio for Album 4 and some sandwiches.
