Bio
Black Harbor originated in Detroit, MI with original members Kevin Holzner (lead guitar) and Richard Corey (vocals). They hit the scene fast and hard performing with bands such as Devil Driver, My Children My Bride, Emmure, Despised Icon, Taproot, Veil Of Maya, Oceano, and many others. In early 2010 the band relocated to central Illinois where they aimed to take the music scene by storm once again. Since their relocation they added Randy Dalton (guitar), James Rasch (drums), and Nick Tuggle (bass) to their line up. Known by the fans of the region to be one the most technically proficient and energetic acts to hit the scene in decades. Blistering riffs, blast beats and breakdowns all topped off with with an amazing lead guitar that comes soaring overhead. Richard Corey has been said to be extremely intense and delivers a powerful vocal performance that can't be forgotten. Their lead guitarist Kevin Holzner has received much notoriety as being "...one of the best guitarists in Illinois"-Gary Miller (MIllerBash coordinator) 12/17/2010. They are an act that can light up any stage and turn any crowd into an instant mosh pit. Don't miss these guys if you have the chance.
