Blackjaz aka Terry Muller is a singer/songwriter/producer specialising in Trance, electronica and pop.
Terry began his writing career like many in school rock bands, trying out his talents in all instruments before settling on guitar and vocals as his chosen outlet.
The first break came in the form of a record deal from Earache records. As the main songwriter the label were drawn towards the writing and performance of Terry's band 'Autonomy' in 1999.
An album of these works were released through the label in 2000, although he departed the band in the same year and began concentrating on solo material which in his opinion was "the best move I could have made"...
Blackjaz was created in 2003 as Terry's stage and artist name and became the face of all current material. Band promotions, reviews and electronic music were all fronted by the Blackjaz name until 2008 which saw the promotions benched to make more time for Blackjaz as a songwriter, arranger, guitarist, vocalist and producer.
Now with three years experience in writing dance, trance and electronica alongside the confirmed success of his past songwriting Blackjaz is now seeking a publishing deal with a view to having his pop material recorded, performed and promoted by up and coming as well as established artists and electronic music played extensively in clubs throughout the club/dance scene and adapted for multi-media use.
