Through a unique pairing of soulful vocals and guitar driven hooks, diversity is at the core of Black Minks soul. They bring together not only the sounds but the fundamental natures of all music, from Rock to Soul, Motown to Reggae and everything in between. Big vocals and driving hooks captivate crowds and stimulate the senses, evoking real life emotions that people identify with. 

Black Minks unique sound is more than a simple mash up of one genres tone with anothers feeling and a thirds back beat; rather it is a precise, dynamic and focused channelling of their fundamental nature, their quintessence. Comprised of musicians having worked with producers like Brian Moncarz (Rattle Box Studios), Chris Perry (The Pocket Studios), David Chester (Chalet Studios) and a few more that will remain namelessfor now, Black Mink has crafted their sound from their experiences with varied musical sources. 

Being native to Toronto, Black Mink has played every type of venue from the smallest bars like Cherry Colas and The Rancho Relaxo, midsize venues like The Hard Rock Lounge and Stones Place, all the way to larger venues like Phoenix Concert Theatre, Lees Palace and Downsview Parc. The band is also well versed in corporate & charitable functions, Weddings (down the aisle, cocktail hour as well as for the main stage), Bar Mitzvahs along with almost any sort of event that requires music.
