Blacksonshine is based in Baton Rouge, LA. Jabba and Gator, the groups' producers and founders have made a name for themselves locally as innovative, creative songwriters and versatile MC's through there co- production credits, vocal features and live performances in both the rap and blues genres. Group artist illastraters passion is reminiscent of Tupac with mic skills as impressive as Wiz Khalifa. Collectively the group has created its own sub-genre of music locally known as rap and blues.
