If you have been attending any of the major ballad sessions in Ireland & England, you would know that they are the biggest attraction currently on tour. The group consists of three lads & one lassie from Kiltealy, Wexford, Ireland, home of the legendary Irish Tenor, Anthony Kearns. Together they create a bigger sound than a full orchestra. The band has served their apprenticeship with the best in the business having worked with The Wolfe Tones, Dublin City Ramblers, Brendan Grace & Bagatelle to mention a few. The band play Irish music the way it was meant to be, with passion & pride and believe their show is the biggest Irish sing along session in the world. What Blackstairs Rebel do, is bring your normal sit in the corner session in a pub to the the main stage of any festival or event they play worldwide, getting everybody involved. There is no divide between the band and the audience, Crowd participation is a huge part of their show.
