Black Star Inc. consists of Luke Ladlee, 18, the performance and lyrical crazed vocalist of the band; he drives his songwriting, vocals, and performance each and every time making everybody open their eyes and ears. Andrew Alfano, 19, he plays a brand of guitar playing completely original in every way. Delivering anthem-like riffs, crunching, memorable rhythms, and soaring, well-devised, unforgettable guitar leads and solos, creating a new flavor of guitar of his own. Nathan Ladlee, 16, the youngest of the group and the younger brother of Luke, uses his strong melodic bass lines, and rolling fills to create the perfect rhythm between the guitar and drums, pulling as much originality out of 4 strings as possible. Then completed with Amu, 19, he drives the tone of Black Star Inc. with strong, shotgun-blast drumming and roaring fills, letting you know that there is no chance of letting up. Each beat attacked to give each of their songs its own stomp on the ground. Together, they mold perfectly into each other creating a sound completely of their own.

Friends all through high school, Luke and Andrew had been playing in bands together for years. It was straight after high school graduation they both decided they were going to take their sound and vision as far as they could go. Nathan, who had already been in jam sessions with the two since the year before, signed on as soon as asked. Shortly after, Amu jumped on board, having past experience playing with the three, and having already known Luke since junior high, Black Star Inc. was born.

Starting out in small open mics, the band began creating a real buzz in their Hudson Valley area. Establishing a growing, loyal fan base, they begin working their way into the club and bar circuit. Through these shows, the band leaves every one of them to roaring audiences, pumping there fists and wanting more. Their goal is simple, recruit fans by the masses, and kick a hole through the wall of the music scene today.
