Bio
Blacktop Forest is made up of 5 members all from North Haven, CT. Brian and George played together in a blues/rock band called the Blue Stones where they learned and performed songs by the Beatles, the Doors, Led Zeppelin etc. Erik, Rob, and Mike played together in a band known as Cavern which focused more on writing songs with more of a Jam sound, heavily inspired from bands such as The Grateful Dead and Phish. The 5 came together in the summer of 2009 and clicked almost immediately, despite the difference in music styles and tastes.
