"Indie Initiative Review"

Im impressed by the desperate need of Bladeshy to get their songs across. A three piece with a Nirvana feel, a left handed guitarist, slurred whining vocals, the band make a righteous noise and the room is lifted when they play their last song. They draw me in with their passion - that need to connect with their audience is the sign of a great band. They have a good crowd as well, and they definately leave a lasting impression with songs that are easy to love. Check them out!!! - Inpress Magazine

There's just something you can't deny about a song that gets stuck in your head all day, its memorable and whether you like it or not you'll be humming the tune for the rest of the day. One listen to any of Bladeshy's songs and you'll be in the same situation, stuck with a tune that you cant ignore.

Bladeshy combine modern rock riffs and irresistible vocals sung with melody most singers would die for. These well crafted songs combined with an out of control live show, make Bladeshy one of the most promising young bands in Australia.

Forming at the start of 2006 Bladeshy have been honing their craft at various venues around Melbourne, Geelong and country Victoria, racking up many miles in the tour van and making many fans along the way.

In September 2007 Bladeshy released a self titled 5 track ep.

Bladeshy have played alongside some diverse acts such as Mammal, Legends of Motorsport, Spazzys, Skybombers, Modular Lounge, Little Red and The Gingers.

****In May 2008 Bladeshy will be travelling to Vancouver Canada to play the New Music West festival and an assortment of other shows****

"Its refreshing to see a band these days doing their own thing, and doing it well may i add, and not following what everyone else is doing.. keep it up!" Mike Mushok - Staind
