Blake Everett and the Natural is the amazing new folk/roots sound coming out of Nashville, TN.
This dynamic duo is a combination of Ozark Mountain, AR born Blake Smart and Southern CA raised Andrew Martin. Together these two create something really special and the Music City crowd is ready to share.
Blake's love and passion for music has taken him around the world and back again. From talent shows in high school to playing bass in a new wave/rockabilly band, his experiences make his songwriting something that everyone can relate to. Blake's world travels took him to China where he entered the OVCM festival (China's version of American Idol) and placed 5th. While he enjoyed his Chinese stardom, Blake was ready to come home and bring his talent back to the states. Once back in Nashville, Blake joined forces with Andrew Martin, whom he met while in China.
Learning to play many instruments at an early age, Andrew's musical history includes playing cello in the Pepperdine University Symphony, and together with Erica Davis, winning the 2010 Most Entertaining Award from the Wuhan Music Competition in China. Andrew also played in a band and co-wrote with singer-songwriter Shwayze.
Together these guys are Blake Everett and the Natural and are ready to bring a new sound to colleges all across the country. Playing the perfect mix of favorite covers and their own inspiring originals, these guys can entertain. From a coffee house for acoustic night or a theater for a major concert event, Blake Everett and the Natural is that something different that will keep your campus talking, singing along, and asking for more!
