Bio
I started writing songs when I was 17. I've always been in bands, but oddly enough, was never the songwriter for them. My solo style became defined by all the songs that never fit in those bands. Influenced by solo artists like Billy Joel, Elton John, Pete Yorn, Ryan Adams, and Ben Folds, and bands such as Jimmy Eat World, Counting Crows, Third Eye Blind and Aerosmith, my music became a unique blend of pop and rock. Back in the day when Mp3.com was king, I was discovered by the Grammy Award winning Berman Bros., and signed a production deal. After talking to several major labels, nothing panned out, though, so I rejoined my old band, Minutes Too Far, who toured around the country and eventually our EP, "Let It Roll", caught the ears of labels and we signed to a D.C. startup label B& Recordings under Doghouse Records. In 2009, the band went their separate ways, and I began working on a full length solo record. That brings us to current day.
