Discography

Blame Vainglory stared with a demo of Hypocrites that people instantly fell in love with, and more than quickly moved on into a constanly developing style. Our first CD self-titled Blame Vainglory has eight tracks, most popular tracks being "Three can keep a secret" and "Bowser".

We also have a few new songs that we'll be recording soon to release a 3 track EP of what we've developed into!

Bio

Blame Vainglory

Let's try to keep this short...

We're 5 members all influenced by different styles of music, working together creating to create our sound, which is easiest to describe as melodic rock into riff crazy metal. One genre description, Hard Rock, you want to be niche crazy? bi-polar classic rock with solos to match, to screamo progressive metal, with ambient instrumental bridges and such.
We're not aiming for a style, which is why it works so well.

A little about us... a mere 6 months after our very first jam session, we were in the studio (Rock Garden Studio in Appleton, WI) recording 8 tracks that were still brand new songs to us, for our first CD. Six months from then, we hosted our hometown CD release show October 24th, 2008.

That hasn't stopped us from planning another release however, we've got three new tracks with more developed style than ever before. We plan on heading to Kenosha, WI with Nick Rad music to record a three track EP of our latest direction. Recently we were contacted by Benjamin Judah of
Skies Fall Media Group and quite successful band, Skillet, saying that he's interested in producing with us. Though he didn't know that we were already in contact with Nick Rad, he suggested that be who we worked with.

That having been said, we plan to spend the next few months slowing down the musical efforts, with the exception of working on acoustic sets, and really start working with promotion, and getting a good and solid fanbase growth, after all, the above mentioned things sound great... but you still need to remember that it's the fans that we want to contact us!
