Bio

Blamma! Blamma! are two extraordinary gentlemen from old London town. Coming together in early 2006 through a love of dirty raves and dirtier secrets, their brand of filthy electro, haywire house and bumpin’ bass made them online heroes and the first stop for hip indie rock bands wanting some hairs put on their chests – and, indeed, various other intimate places.

So far, Maximo Park, Scanners, Blood Red Shoes, Headland and Rival Joustas have all been indecently assaulted by the Blammas, with many more waiting in the wings. But wait they must for now, as Blamma! Blamma! get down to the business of their first solo release “the.p”.

The EP consists of three tracks, “Only Friend”, “Let’s Do It, Then” and bonus track, the internet phenomenon that is, “Carry Me Home”.

“Only Friend” is glitched-out barnstormer with a twist, featuring the vocal talents of Blamma! x 1, while “Let’s Do It, Then” is its mutant cousin, freshly busted out of the asylum.

“Carry Me Home” was actually made almost two years ago and released for free by Blamma! Blamma! online as they didn’t think it cut the mustard as proper release. How wrong they were it seems, the reaction from the MP3 blogs and through myspace was enormous, persuading the guys to include the track on “th.p” as a little bonus treat – despite the fact that over 10, 000 people have all ready downloaded it for free!

Extraordinary business indeed.
