The word rapper could barely scratch the surface when describing artist Blaq’Dior. Born Brittani Nichole, This jack of all trades is also a writer, author, actress, spokeswoman, publisher and entertainer. Determined to shake the cliché’ of female rappers having to project a sex driven image, Blaq’Dior found her interest in music in 1999 after being inspired by the Cash Money Millionaires. At the age of fourteen, she began opening up for major artists such as The Whispers, The Temptations, Trina, Ja Rule’s Triple Platinum Tour featuring Ludacris, Lil’ Mo, The Kings of Comedy tour in Seattle, and many more.

Her singing talents have also
garnered major recognition. In November 2002, she
was a finalist in New York &
Atlanta for the 3LW auditions,
and was also a 2005
finalist for R&B
group TLC’s series
“R U THE GIRL” that was
broadcast
on UPN.

The highly anticipated Blaq‘Dior currently resides in the DFW area. Her album, “Confessions of a Woman” and the audio book, the play and movie definitely set a new tone. The new singles for the spring are entitled “Shoe Game” and “Other Woman”

Blaq‘Dior will travel to schools, juvenile detention centers and shelters speaking to numerous young women about empowerment,
self-esteem, inner beauty and overall life experiences.
