Okay, so I prefer to speak from a personal point of view, 'cause third person is weird, at least to me. I grew up a very lonely child. No matter where I went, who I was around, I always had this sense of loneliness. I found my passion for singing, in church; you know, "God is good" and sh*t. My singing did something to people that made them feel a real close connection with how the words were delivered. Was this fate?
Fast forward to now, and I'm learning what lane works for me. I learned that "Pain is poetry's gold." What a beautiful quote; tattoo worthy, if you ask me. My bread and butter is performing, 'cause that's where I truly get to release my energy, and feel alive, the most. I've always felt like hidden from the world, but music has given me a voice and a home. It's given me an identity.
