Here's our story:
We are Rock & Roll veterans. Baltimore's Andy Bopp has written, recorded and released 13 albums, two on Interscope Records. Andy has toured the world, and navigated the freeways and backroads of the music industry for 2 decades. Brooklyn native, Joey Salvia was with 115 Records as frontman/bassist for The Montgomery Cliffs. He's also a frequent house band member on The Mike Huckabee Show. Chad Hopkins, a gifted vocalist, has had success with in publishing (The Dephi Label) in LA. Aside from being seasoned performers and prolific song writers, we also have nationwide commercials for Buick and Speedco. Each of our members have a deep passion and reverence for traditional country music, and rely on a simple, stripped down approach to our presentation, both on stage and in the recording studio. In fact, unlike many of today's artists who use modern technology to support their sound, Bleaker Street Cowboys do it the old fashioned way. We use actual reel to reel analog tape. That means we have to capture each performance without studio trickery, and with a painstaking approach to being 100% authentic. This process also guarantees a 'live" performance that is as close to being like the record (or mp3 if you will) as a band can get these days.
