Blended Brew

A scintillating blend of different emotions, powerful energy and varying musical backgrounds combine into one to form, BLENDED BREW. The group is ready to introduce themselves to an International audience. That first step was taken last year upon the release of their first musical album, “Rose”. An initial trip followed to the United States, which resulted in some exposure in Florida, ultimately leading to the procurement of management. Plans were then made to return to the States the next year to showcase their old material, as well as songs that were going to be written and recorded over the next several months.

Back in 2010 BLENDED BREW began writing their own material and went on to perform numerous shows in Danish venues, including RUST. In its relatively short existence since the group’s formation in 2009, the five individuals who make up BLENED BREW have continued to hone their skills and become a tight knit unit.

In 2011, BLENDED BREW released the aforementioned seven track EP, “Rose”. The tracks reflect on the bands’ feelings towards everyday life and its associated struggles that everyone can appreciate, connecting with their audience strictly through their music. There is a story woven inside the songs that can be identified with throughout the EP. Although personal interpretations may vary, people are able to identify themselves within the songs, one of the main goals of the music. This intriguing and honest life story is prevalent throughout the EP. When listening, it’s clear BLENDED BREW displays a mutual understanding of their talents and are able to work together in an expressive, unique way to develop a sound that is soothingly at ease with their fans. In March of this year, Blended Brew embarked on their second expedition to the United States. Loaded with new material including hits like ROLL THE DICE and CROSSING CRAZINESS (written and recorded while back home in Denmark), this 2nd trip this past Spring was sure to be a successful venture! After arriving in early March, BLENDED BREW quickly jumped into performing promotional shows in various Florida venues, including a warm up gig at The House of Blues in Orlando, opening up for Florida based headliner Sister Hazel. These were all in preparation for a jaunt to New York City to showcase for record executives and booking agents in the Big Apple. The feedback was very encouraging. Fantastic singer, tight, extremely talented, nice looking band and solid songs were the general thoughts heard from these executives. All that was needed to do was to continue to write more material and prepare additional songs for the band’s upcoming, second album. Next up was a trip up to Nashville to record in Music City. A fantastic experience, working with esteemed producer and musician Dave Roe, led to a more refined sound, with the chance to record in analog, resulting in a much warmer texture to the new music.

Ever so quickly it was time to return home to Denmark to finish up final mixes and put the finishing touches on three more tracks, as the band builds towards releasing their next album in the near future. Stay tuned for more of Blended Brew’s story; as the journey continues . . .
