Blind Devotion

Blind Devotion is a group of three passionate musicians who know no life other than music. Their influences mainly are Nirvana, Metallica, and The Used. Blind Devotion's leadman, Joe Smith, has an unhealthy obsession with Kurt Cobain and can literally answer just about any question about him. It shows in his lyrics and songwriting. There are several main characteristics that set Blind Devotion apart from any other band. One is that they are a three piece band, showing that you don't need layers upon layers of instruments to make good music. Also, they route back to grunge heroes such as the Melvins, the Pixies, and Mudhoney, while most people have never even heard them. The songs have meaningful lyrics, unlike most of these "pop punk/emo" bands nowadays. Another thing is their age, the band members are only 15/16 years old and play just as hard as veteran rockers. Lastly, their name means "undying passion," and that's what they have when it comes to making music.
