Blind Lion: This band of eclectic jokers brings a new flavor to the independant music scene. Blind Lion has managed to package original material with a classic rock flavor, in a self catergorized style they call “vintage rock,”
At the mic is the lead singer/writer: Chris Doran. Chris brings an articulate mind and soulful voice, which resembles the gravel of John Fogerty, and the sultriness of Paul Rodgers. He seems to speak the language of the common people, reality, and real love.
Jesse Kennemer the youngest in the band, stands out as the most seasoned musician among the group. Opening and playing with a virtual who’s-who in the music industry, including: Blues Traveler, Queensrhyche, and The Fabulous Thunderbirds. Jesse lets his guitar speak for him most of the time.
On the low end you will find Shane Kell. Bringing a true classic rock style to the bass, Kell doesn’t just dissolve into the background. Before Blind Lion, Shane played with legendary drummer Gary Mallaber (Steve Miller Band) opening for several acts including Jonny Lang.
Stitching it all together behind the drum kit is Spenser Doran. The younger brother of Chris, Spense is an ever-expanding percussionist and artist. Spense doubles as the chief graphic designer for the band; designing and creating most of the posters and album art.
As a band, Blind Lion has worked hard to establish itself. Experienced on a variety of levels after several years on the scene, they have played at many notable venues across the United States including The Whiskey a Go Go in Hollywood, Ca., and The Legendary Buffalo Chip @ Sturgis 2011!
