Bio

Blind Nation is a local Colorado metal band that was formed as a cross-over between metal and punk, as 2 of the members enjoyed metal, and the other 2 enjoyed punk. Somewhere after the first EP release, we gradually moved towards metal, to the point where we are now.

Originally started by Elmo D, as he was always into music and his skating friend Jamesy Poo after they were "jamming" down in the basement. They came up with what sounded like a cool sound and thus began "The Heroic Enemies". They eventually picked up Wes as a bassist, which Jamesy Poo knew as a friend. Needing a drummer they contacted Lord Krehn, who has been in a band with Elmo D previously in a band called "TearDrop". The Heroic Enemies had it's lineup, without a singer announced as Elmo D on Lead Guitars, Jamesy Poo on Rythem Guitars and Solos, Wes as the bassist, and Lord Krehn as the Drummer.

The oxymoron name "The Heroic Enemies" didn't seem to satisfy any member after a while and they decided to change the name.Wes disappeared over the summer, believed to have been gang related and Lord Krehn grabbed one of his co-workers as his bassist. Unfortunately, the bassist never felt like he fit in the band and Lord Krehn taught his friend Imhotep how to play bass. Elmo D was in church when he noticed two words in the bible when he opened it up, "The Reprinted", and he liked it so much and with permission of the band, we changed our name to "The Reprinted".

Without a lead singer and over six songs being produced, there was really no hope of finding a singer, after asking as many friends as we had, and looking around for singers around the local area. However, Jamesy Poo was willing to stop playing guitar, with the band, and be the singer as he already knew the music. The name "The Reprinted" began to misfit the band more and more as their songs kept becoming heavier and most of the members were disagreeing with the name. Lord Krehn and one of his friends were just writing down random CD name ideas on a piece of paper during math class. One of them struck out to Lord Krehn and he asked the band. Thus, began Blind Nation.
