Blind Nurses

Blind Nurses is clearly a phenomenon, on both Hungarian and international arenas, which will be soon talked about. The foundation of the band was laid down by a bass and a trumpet player, and this already guarantees an unusual sound in itself. What they offer is carefully elaborated music with definite and indispensable role given to each of the instruments. The style is mostly rock building on "simple" two & four snare drums, characteristic guitar riffs, and a main vocal ranging between hard rap and rich melodies. However, sometimes the whole shifts into progressive, and the funky & soul color carried by the bass and horns makes it fairly difficult to determine the genre.

With all original songs enough for one LP, the band is ready to give a frantic show at any time, or to actually record that LP, having surveyed the opportunities. The members of the audience are equally eager, though less homogeneous in finding any familiar clue or basis for comparison; artists often quoted include Prince, RHCP, Primus, Dave Matthews Band, Metallica, Nirvana...
