Bloco do Caos is a mix of Brazilian rhythms and its lyrics promote the positive thinking and the awareness Bloco do Caos has as its values the collective power, the musical synergy and its artistic personality. Offers harmony joining influences in Reggae, Rock, Rap Attitude, always based by the swing of Brazilian Popular Music, for a mature sonority. The lyrics bring messages for social engagement describing how the youth feel about the world and its hard reality.  5 friends from São Paulo city, with a long road of shows for whole Brazil. The band have been passing through different formations until achieve in its current crew since late 2013.  Bloco do Caos already has performed with mainstream brazilian artists as O Rappa, Charlie Brown Jr., Natiruts, Gabriel O Pensador, Tribo de Jah, CPM 22, Tihuana, Detonautas Roque Clube, Planta & Raíz, Forfun, and others.  Bloco do Caos integrated the Lineup of events and festivals as Pixel Show – biggest event for art and creativity in Latin America; Sampa Music Festival – the biggest Rock event for underground bands and independent artists in Brazil; Verão Azul (“Blue Summer”) in Bertioga – Beach in São Paulo state coast.  In 2015, Bloco do Caos launched its first authorial disc (EP), named Singular.  The EP’ Cover and the EP’ title are honors to uncle Mauro Acácio, known by the guys as “Tio Mauro People”, one very special person, unique, who supported the guys with happiness and great humor sense while he was here.  Its first single Herói do Morro (“Favela Hero”) bring a sophisticated video clip with deep content. It was recorded in the artistic occupation Raiz Libertária (“Libertarian Roots”) inside of Parque Raposo Tavares in São Paulo city, a place that in past was used for Sanitary Landfills which was transformed for a Cultural Centre, due to the work done by the young local community. The production was made by Pexera Produções and directed by Mr. Paul Domingos. The video clip became a trigger for a short documentary movie about the creation of the Arts Office, its founders, and the importance of art and culture in the formation and education of young people from periphery communities. The singer and composer Marcelo Mira of band Alma Djem signs the second single Flores, Anjos e Samurais (“Flowers, Angels and Samurai”)  Singular also counts with special contributions of mainstream artists which are references and very known names of Global Reggae Scene as Quino McWhinney, frontman of Big Mountain, Californian reggae band, and Toni Garrido, frontman of Cidade Negra, the most known brazilian reggae band. Both great names are together with Bloco do Caos in the single O Mensageiro (“The Messenger”), which is the main song and also used to present the EP Singular. The video clip was launched in September of 2015, using cinematographic production by Ritmo Visual Filmes, achieving more than Thirty Thousand (30.000) views in Youtube and more than Five Hundred Thousands (500.000) views Facebook. It has being broadcasted by music 

channels of brazilian TV and in the local Radios. According data from Playax (http://www.playax.com/), O Mensageiro was the song more executed in January 2016 in the city of Breves, in Pará state, in North Region of Brazil, a very far place from São Paulo city, the origin and base of Bloco do Caos. Its lyric brings a message about how all people is responsible and important for other people and how we are totally able to help and take care of each other’s.  This message gets stronger when people realizes that these two great artists accepted to join their voices to this song. Its storyline is smooth and light, as the song, with beautiful nature scenes in the North Coast of São Paulo state, in Brazil.     Completing the five singles of Singular EP are more two songs, Do Outro Lado do Muro (“The other side of the Wall”) and Alta Definição (“High Definition”). Both bring concerns about individual behavior in times of solitude and information excesses. Alta Definição is a metaphor about nowadays, in a too energetic, powerful and vibration song. Do Outro Lado do Muro is an invitation letter sent by someone begging for solidarity, for all people whom feels solely and tired, to fight for better days. Bloco do Caos is integrant of the movement #ACENAVIVESP which is an action of unity and collective work of Independent Bands, which was launched firstly in Rio de Janeiro city and now is also inspiring the underground scene in São Paulo city. The targets of this movement is get stronger the space for Rock bands in the brazilian music market.
