Formed in the desolate playground known as the Fortitude Valley, Blonde on Blonde is intrinsically about psychedelic indie infused rock and roll. The combination of driving guitar hooks, a booming bass, Motown influenced beats and voluptuous male/female vocals create a distinctive but infinitely catch sound that harks to unrequited love and the complications of seduction.
With acclaim in their hometown of Brisbane and a rapidly growing reputation across Australia for their sexy grooves and electric live shows, Blonde on Blonde have recently returned from across the Pacific after being chosen to showcase at the prestigious music Conference MUSEXPO L.A. Having already supported the likes of Tame Impala, Wolfmother, Sugar Army, Dead Letter Circus, Papa Vs Pretty and most recently Australian legends INXS. Their trip to L.A and subsequent sideshows in April/May, on the back of national airplay across America, along with their forthcoming single release “Act 1” cement Blonde on Blonde as one of the bands to watch this year.
