"Timmy Gunns Interview (AKA Timmy Kin)"

This weeks special guest is Sydney based Rock, Blues acoustic artist, Timmy Gunns. Best known for his work with Sydney band the Vandolls and glam rock outfit, Lust, Timmy has just returned from Nashville, Tenessee where he recorded an album with local punk group, The Blood Drunk Shenanigans headed by producer/drummer Pepper Denny.

Back at home in Sydney, Timmy is still working with old school rockers, The Licks. This young and upcoming group has produced a rock'n'roll EP reminiscent of the classic sounds of some of the world greatest rock bands. The Licks make no apologies for their in-your-face music & lyrics.

On Tuesday we will be chatting to Timmy about music, life as an aspiring rock star, his solo work and what makes him tick. We'll be previewing his latest solo single and playing some tracks off The Licks' EP.

"Friday, Oct. 15: Blooddrunk Shenanigans Hell's Kitchen"

The band's name implies intoxication via the metallic red stuff, but the sound is that of pure, trashy beer and whiskey. Blooddrunk Shenanigans are part of a long-standing tradition of drunken UK blokes and the fiery punk they create. Lead singer Timmy Kin has a Shane MacGowan-esque brogue that manages to convey equal parts anger and wry, smirking sarcasm. One gets the impression the band's real intoxication - apart from booze and cigarettes - is chaos. Song after song, Blooddrunk Shenanigans make it clear that the aftermath of the drink ("Let's Fight," "Get Up and Yell," "Let's Rock") is more rewarding than the drink itself. Grab a whiskey, catch ‘em live and slam head-on into your fellow man. - Weekly Volcano, Tacoma, WA

Pepper played in bands on the west coast, Rich played on the east coast, Timmy did his thing "down under" and Bones? Nobody really knows. What's amazing now is how simply unlikely it is that we could have ever found each other and almost as rare, what's a punk band doing in Nashville?

Blooddrunk Shenanigans is the real deal. 100% real. We write using random chaos as inspiration. Nothing digital on stage or on the records.

Of course there's more but but it's much more fun to let the music do the talking so check out the tunes and watch the video!

So anyway, bio? Yeah we do have individual bios that are interesting, if not somewhat impressive but this is about Blooddrunk Shenanigans and that's a bio that hopefully someone else will write for us to enjoy later. Right now, we're looking for a girl named "Off".
