Biography

It’s a hell of a drive for a band that’s got nothing…

Hailing from Orlando, this three-piece indie rock band is readying the release of their new album “O sinner” on Fighting Records. The album was recorded at David Lowry’s (Cracker, Camper Van Beethoven) Sound Of Music Studios in Richmond, VA and was produced and mixed by Brian Paulson (Beck, Wilco, Husker Du, Dinosaur Jr).

Bloom spent the winter and summer of 2004 supporting the Suicide Girls Live tour which sold out venues all across the nation including the Great American Music Hall, Emo’s, The Trocadero, Knitting Factory NYC, The Middle East and First Avenue, among others. The band also toured in support of Urge Overkill and The Mooney Suzuki. They have some select dates supporting Guided by Voices on their upcoming final tour.

The band blends the unique dynamics of the Pixies with the hooks of the Jesus and Mary Chain. "O sinner" is a picture book of melancholic pop portraits presenting material that is expertly simple, imaginative and anthemic.
