Eerie, sweet and sour, quirky, soulful. Stripped emotionally bare an experimentation of sounds, instruments, feelings. A sacred intimacy that merges sophisticated vocal harmonies, dark electronic beats, piano, flute, tambourine, harmonica...

Born in the Ukraine, 20-year-old identical twins, Sonia and Anna Kuprienko grew up in a small town outside of Kiev. They were both classically trained, becoming accomplished musicians and singers at an early age. They decided to leave the political turmoil at home behind and move to London where they are able to pursue their unique musical vision. The sound that has emerged is an intoxicating mix, shaped by their unusual background and perspective, it crosses over several genres of music. They Fuse stylish electronica with haunting melodies, delivered in their distinctive vocal style, embellishing the sound with flute, harmonica and piano creating what they call a “dark pop”

After uploading their debut track ‘Fahrenheit’ to You Tube in 2013, Bloom Twins had a double impact on both music and fashion, opening the doors to numerous profile pieces in magazines such as Wonderland, Vogue, Numero and ID. Soon after, a support slot for Eels at O2 Academy in Liverpool was followed by MTV Iggy’s artist of the week.

In 2014 Bloom Twins continued to build their online presence releasing a string of new songs and videos which generated much social media attention. They also performed at a series of exclusive live events from prestigious festival “The Great Escape Festival” to Hermes’s Flaneur Experience in London and Heart in Ibiza, Summer series at the Somerset house and iconic Ronnie Scotts. Following the release of a cover version of the classic Bob Marley song “Get up, Stand up” Bloom Twins were featured on BBC NewsNight with Jeremy Paxman and graced the pages of broadsheet newspapers including The Sunday Times, The Daily Mail and The Guardian along with Newsweek magazine.

During 2015 they have continued to build momentum playing several headlining concerts at venues around London and making an appearance in Unicef’s Imagine campaign alongside Katy Perry and In Nov. 2015 Bloom Twins were announced as support for Duran Duran on their Paper Gods UK arena tour with Seal as a special guest. In May 2016 girls’ve released a new single “Amnesia” from their forthcoming EP and toured Italy with Duran Duran.
