Catchy like a Manga, and deep like their Swedish home country's lakes: BLOWSIGHT means to not only
have an attitude but to celebrate the heavy melodic future of music - Popmetalpunk of the next genera-
tion being made audible for our present times. With the Stockholm based quartet being alive for over 5
years, their flamin' dedication to the music, and constant touring with major acts like Danzig, Cinema
Bizarre and Life Of Agony to name a few, Blowsight have reached out to a wide audience not only in
Scandinavia, but all over the world. The mix between raw, punky energy and emotional lyrics, combined
with polished pop flavours has never been more defined.

In the spring of 2007, due to a Swedish music competition involving over 16.000 artists, Blowsight
brought home the gold trophy, leading to the Sony/BMG release of the EP "I'll Be Around". The EP also
included the super hyped cover of Britney Spears 'Toxic', which influenced blowsighters all over the glo-
be to make their own video renditions of the cover on Youtube, reaching a total of nearly half a million
views. In Sweden, the first edition of the EP sold out in less than a month.

Shortly after, the band self released their debut fullength album, entitled 'Destination Terrorville'. Being
one of the year's most diversed albums in the genre, magazines and websites praised it to the sky with
words like "[Blowsight] takes a tired genre and reignites it", "the only question is - what record label is
quickest and smartest?". Swedens leading rock magazine described the album "A hard rock buffet for
anyone who is willing to broaden his/her musical horizon. And it tastes wonderful", while Metal Hammer
crowned them as "Band of the month".

This year, 'Destination Terrorville' is being released through Fastball Music/Sony, refueled with the bonus
track 'Teenage Rockstar', showing the masses what they can expect from the upcoming Blowsight chap-
ters - more energy, more colours - and more emotions. Needless to say, the right attitude, the right
songs and the right melodies will bring Blowsight to the level they belong.
The translation of never again being a part of the past is: BLOWSIGHT.
