Blue Meadow consists of four singer-songwriters from NYC: Densen Curwen, Devon Joseph, Dexter Lendor, and Jamal Reed. You may recognize the name Jamal Reed because of his success with the group Naturally 7. Best known for their distinct style of "vocal play" Naturally 7's style of R&B vocals mixed with beat boxing is carried over to Blue Meadow through Jamal's instantly identifiable voice.

Following the old adage "if you want something done right, do it yourself", the boys of Blue Meadow have set out to make music that is truly their own. By mixing an array of different styles into one pot and creating their version of popular rock, their debut album 39th & 8th proudly introduces a collection of musical styles that epitomize the unique essence, energy and special vibe that is the Big Apple. Coffee Shop

Written By: Joedy Imbert

Hey I know you dont know me
But it looks like you need a friend
And I'm not in a hurry
I've got some time to spare

Once you clear those tears from your eyes
I've got a place for you in mind
There's a spot I know
And it's right around the corner

There's a coffee shop I know
Where everyone else seems to go
I dont know what it is but it helps
take the troubles away

There's a coffee shop I know
Where everyone else seems to go
I dont know what it is but it helps
take the troubles away

aaaooooo oooo oooo (2x)

Excuse me sir
But it's so cold outside
Your clothes are torn and
You're holding a sign

Everyone just seems to
Pass you by (by by)
Dont lose hope and Dont lose faith
I'm sure the'll be better days
If you need a place to sit
There's a place around the corner

There's a coffee shop I know
Where everyone else seems to go
I dont know what it is but it helps
Take the troubles away

There's a coffee shop I know
Where everyone else seems to go
I dont know what it is but it helps
Take the troube away

Could you bring yourself to believe
That some things are fate
Could you bring yourself to believe
That when things go wrong they will turn out ok

Could you bring yourself to believe that
You will always have a friend
Could you bring yourself to believe

There's a coffee shop I know
Where everyone else seems to go
I dont know what it is but it helps
Take the troubles away

There's a coffee shop I know
Where everyone seems to go
I dont know what it is but it helps
Take the troubles away

aaaoooo aaaoooo

Hero

Written By: Densen Curwen

I see you and I know you see me to
I wanna know who's the one protecting you
Stay with me and I'll never let you go
Never let you go

Let me be your hero
To look after you
Let me be your champion
Always fighting through
I wanna be the one you need
I can't help myself

Just call me and I will come....
To the rescue

Please dont say
That I'm fine all by myself
It's not true yeah
Everyone can use some help
Hold me tight now
And I'll never let you go
No Noooo

Let me be your hero
To look after you
Let me be your champion
Always fighting through
I wanna be the one you need
I can't help myself

Just call me and I will come....

Let me be your hero
To look after you
Let me be your champion
Always fighting through
I wanna be the one you need
I can't help myself

Just call me and I will come....
To the rescue

I'll be your hero
I'll be your hero
I'll be your hero
I'll be your hero

Rain

Written By: Jamal Reed

It's day break my mind wakes
From calling you in my dreams
And I just wanna be where you are

I'm here and youre there
You're not here with me I'm alone
And I dont know when I'm coming home

I dont wanna wait till we get home
It's too long
Can we dance outside in the rain
I dont wanna wait till we get home
It's too long
Can we dance outside in the rain
All night All night

So long I've been waiting
Hope I get everything right
Felt like forever since the day
We held each other tight
My eyes long to see the sight
When I lay my hands on your face

I dont wanna wait till we get home
The waits just to long for me
Can we dance outside in the rain
Can we dance Can we dance outside

I dont wanna wait till we get home
Just cant wait for us to get there
Can we dance outside in the rain

OOOO
But after all this time
I'm traveling your way
But baby now I'm here to stay
Here to stay........

I dont wanna wait till we get home
It's too long
Can we dance outside in the rain
Outside in the rain
I dont wanna wait till we get home
It's too long
Can we dance outside in the rain

OOOOOO I remember the day
That I told you I'd stay
Right by your side and
You right by mines
Can we dance all night

No

Written By: Jamal Reed

So many years and I've been wondering
Where do we go from here
I think my heart wants to know

We're at the same place in the same space
As we we're some years ago
I think my heart needs to know

Where do we go from here do we walk away
Living out the rest of our lives in a dream far away
Nooooooo

Standing alone at the crossroads of a dream and reality
My heart is beating miles ahead
Do we ascend or is it the end of a dream
I think my heart wants to know
know know know know

Where do we go from here do we walk away
Living out the rest of our lives in a dream far away
NOOOOOOOO

Where do we go from here do we walk away
Living out the rest of our lives in a dream far away
NOOOOO
Where do we go from here do we walk away
Living out the rest of our lives in a dream far away
NOOOOOO
