BLUE THRONE POETS

Hailing
from El Paso Tx, The Blue Throne Poets have withstood the test of time
these past 16 years. From line up changes, relocating to different
cities, changing musical direction and changing band names. The
musicality and lyrical composition have remained the constant for this
group. Jacob Casillas (vocals), Aaron NuÄş?˜ez (drums) and recently
returned original members bassist Chris Herrera, key boardist Charly
Hernandez and guitarist Danny Zamora have endured the changes of these
times. The Blue Throne Poets envision a future of sharing their
interpretation of new day rock n roll with the world. "There is so much
you can do and so many places you can go in rock n roll that itd be a
shame to stay in one niche. Says keyboardist Charly Hernandez. That's
why we create an eclectic variety of songs from blues and 50's
influences to rock and metal influences." Says singer Jacob Casillas and
guitarist Danny Zamora. Seriously playing the scene in El Paso Tx since
1998, the group remembers a time where bands had no outlet in the city
and had to make their own. "We would play bar and grills and wait for
customers to finish eating so we could move the tables aside to make
room for a stage. Nowadays bars are more inclined to include local bands
for entertainment but back then we'd end up spending more money on
renting a U-Haul trailor to take our gear there than what we'd get
paid." remembers bassist Chris Herrera and drummer Aaron NuÄş?˜ez. For the
love of music is what continues to push these five band of brothers
forward through the all the adversities that come along with the musical
territory. Its no doubt the Blue Throne Poets will continue to make
memorable music.
