One day, Max hitchhiked from New York to Los Angeles, and squatted in an abandoned house across the road from Emily’s house. They met on the street outside of a friend’s show. They fell in love, quit life, and moved into a 1986 BMW. Enter their new garage rock project called Bunny Bunny. The initial songs were written while living in the car, cheap motels, and jamming in various parks and on the beach. Eventually they got married, Emily designed some skateboards to collect some gear and then they went to Max’s hometown Tbilisi, Georgia where they debuted their new project (under the name Bunny Bunny) in the awesome underground rock scene. They came back to LA, had a little girl, and continued perfecting their sound. They are currently working on the recording of their first official album.
Max is an experienced guitarist and apart from hearing him busking in a subway or guest playing with popular bands you may have heard of Max (Dato Machavariani) from his previous band, Plaqska. Emily has a previous solo project, called My Velcroe.
