Blue Beads & Bones

Blue Beads & Bones is a four-piece Americana project hailing from the Northwest corner of Connecticut. It is the brain child of Francis X. McNulty, a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, born and raised in the mill town of Holyoke Massachusetts. "The music is largely a product of itchy feet and skewed observational perspective", says Fran. Musical influences include the Chieftains, Joe Strummer, Ian Felice, Levon Helm, John Lennon, Bob Dylan, and Steve Earl. The band's second full length is currently in pre-production and their debut studio effort, entitled "Ordeal of First Magnitude" is scheduled for late 2010 release on Sling Slang Records.
