The best show you missed last week: Blue Camp and company at Milly’s Tavern Saturday, May 28. Based at Plymouth State, the majority of the Blue Campers wore the black not-old-enough-to-drink “x” on their hands and most of the audience followed suit, drinking bottled water instead of tasty beer. Still, with warm-up acts Joe Young and Brian Bergeron, acoustic rockers from Lowell, Blue Camp charmed even the crustiest of Milly’s regulars. Blue Camp was actually opening for The Pete Kilpatrick Band but Blue Camp alone would have been worth the $7 admission. - Hippo Press

Bio
Hailing from the heart of the New Hampshire and beautiful Plymouth State College, these students have spent thier lives around music. Each member has mastered thier craft, and is well beyond thier years in ability.
Playing live for over 2 years, the group has shared the stage with such national acts as Pete Francis of Dispatch, Zox, and The Pete Kilpatrick Band. Loved by teens and adults alike, Blue Camp is able to fuse classic jazz stylings with today's jam-based soul rock. Lead singer Kellen Rattigan's lyrics are touching, and drummer Tye Seastedt's hypnotic drum beats are heart-thumping, all while keys player Travis Keith ties the group together with melodic piano riffs that provoke smiles across the room.
These young college students have thier act together, and with thier first record in the works, there will hopefully be no where to go but up.
