Blue Chip and Specialist (of the Righteous Riders)

Blue Chip and Specialist started as a duo in 1999. After creating a local buzz in Louisville, Ky., they were invited to feature at the Tyscot Records Showcase in downtown Indianapolis.Their performance was uplifting and explosive. By the time they left the stage, Tyscot offered them a deal on the spot.
They were paired with the duo Blood Bought, another group the
label had signed, to form the group Righteous Riders. Their debut release "The Awakening" rendered hit singles 'Rider's Story', and the #1 ranked Holy Hip Hop single 'The Vibe'.
There follow-up album, "Internal Affairs" was no different - a true success. Their hit singles 'So Many Times' and 'Can't Live' (produced by R&B super-producer Chris Kelly) pushed them to receive a 2002 Stellar Award nomination for Best Rap Album.
They have toured and performed with Kirk Franklin, Michelle Williams (Destiny's Child), Timberland, Missy Elliot, Dorinda Clark, Detrick Haddon, and many more.
Their ability to reached all crowds is unmatchable. Their impact is undeniable.
