Bio
The members of Blue Cloud met during a tour of China with the Manhattan Symphony in the winter of 2009. After forming a friendship, they learned that Laurence Goldman (double bass) had studied the music of the Sioux and Chippewa Indians with an Indian chief who now resides in Greenwich Village, NYC. Upon arriving home in the US, Blue Cloud was formed with the intention of performing chamber music dedicated to the music of Native Americans. The members all have masters degrees from various institutions such as the Manhattan School of Music and each have performed professionally in classical, jazz, world, and rock idioms. Blue Cloud is: Laurence Goldman (double bass), Joe Fee (guitar, percussion), Anthony Vanacore (percussion), and Adam Trumpy (percussion).
