Blue Eyed Lucy

Blue Eyed Lucy was born after the demise of other local projects involving drummer Trevin Welty and guitarist Armand Lance. Originally, they planned to hash out some songs together for each to bring to their own, new bands. But after a couple nights of recording basic ideas, the combination of similar writing styles and the ability to feed off each other live led them to throw all the material under a single name, Blue Eyed Lucy. Starting as a four-piece rock 'n roll group, the band played several shows before deciding to revamp its sound. They stripped down to a three-piece, brought on bass player Cole Meyers, and arrived at a more unique sound. 

Two years later, the band is still a three-piece, though of the original lineup, only Armand Lance remains-- accompanied by drummer James Mozina and bassist Sam Schlenker.

Blue Eyed Lucy sets out to write, record and perform the music they themselves want to hear, and nothing else. They do not write music to conform or follow the ever-elusive "popular sound". No matter what's in style, honest music is always recognized and respected-- be it rap, metal, rock, pop, etc. Honest music is not restricted to a trend. Ultimately, you will decide for yourself whether or not you like this band, no bio can really sway you... This is not a sales pitch. Its a promise of genuine, honest music written by yours truly.
