Bio

Gospel’s best-kept secret, The Blue Hill Gospel MCs, consists of six spiritually gifted men of God. The Blue Hill Gospel MCs are the professional quartet offspring of the Blue Hill Baptist Male Chorus recognized over the years for their smooth, angelic harmony and their soul stirring music. For 20 years, they have been blessed to uplift and inspire souls through their music during Sunday morning services as well as other engagements where they have had the opportunity to be a part of.

Deacon George Jinwright has been an original member and mentor to this collection of fine young men. Benjamin Garvin, Lenny Jinwright, Mikaela Garvin and John Fitz McGill collaborate and add their unique style of musical creativity. Dre Gaylor’s vocal brilliance contributes to this vibrant formula of Down Home Gospel ambiance. Their music is described as gospel with a twist of blues.

The Blue Hill Gospel MCs have had the opportunity to share their music with thousands of listeners from all walks of life. They have shared the stage with The Drifters, The Soul Stirrers, The Holmes Brothers, The Canton Spirituals, Lee Williams and The QCs, and The Sensational Nightingales to name a few. They released their first recording “Lead Me, Guide Me” in January 2001 and their second recording “Workin – The EP” in June 2003. They have received “Best Gospel Group” from GBOS magazine. They have performed in Mexico and the Bahamas on Royal Caribbean Cruises, various House of Blues venues, and several conventions and festivals. As God continues to bless, The Blue Hill Gospel MCs will continue to progress!
