"From Chris, owner of the Rusty Nail Night Club"

BLUE LIGHT - A 5 PIECE 70ISH STYLE JAM BAND. ORGAN PLAYER WAS GOOD AND ENERGETIC TO FUSE THE SOUND INTO THE BAND. LEAD SINGER AND LEAD GUITAR , ONE IN THE SAME WAS VERY GOOD. VOCALS WERE COOL AND FORE FRONTING GUITAR MADE A NICE BLEND OF STYLISH ROCK . THESE GUYS COULD JAM. IT BROUGHT ME BACK TO THE DAYS OF THE GRATEFUL DEAD CONCERTS I ATTENDED. A SEGMENT CALLED " SPACE ". WHERE THE DEAD WOULD JUST JAM FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME. THIS BAND COULD DO THE SAME AND DID. WONDERFUL MUSICIANS BLENDED WELL TOGETHER AS THEIR SET GREW MOMENTUM. A COOL HARD MELODY WAS ALWAYS INCORPORATED INTO EACH SONG. I REALLY DUG EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS BAND. MY ONLY CRITIQUE WAS THE BACK AND HARMONIZING SINGING WERE NOT MATCHING UP ON SEVERAL SONGS. OVERALL , A VERY COOL BAND TO JUST CHILL TOO....WITH GREAT POTENTIAL. - www.thenail1.com

Bio

Formed in the fall of 2002, Blue Light have spent the past few years honing and tightening a new kind of rock music. Firmly rooted in the classic rock style and dripping with psychedelia, Blue Light still push the contemporary envelope, incorporating modern beats and sounds into their highly improvisational sets.

Influences include- but are not limited to- the Grateful Dead, Phish, the Beatles, Hendrix, bluegrass, jamtronica, country music, hip-hop, and all kinds of great jazz.
