Bio
True to their lyrical Folk roots and Pop-Punk inspirations, Heavy Pop band Blue Moon is raising the roof of the Toronto district music scene with their grungy Hip-Hop Rock beats, harmonic bass over-tones, and melodies that rise, fall, and punch right back into the music.
Blue Moon was formed by its lead vocalist & lyricist Annalise and guitarist/composer John Loree. Together their band they write songs that encapsulate their personal thoughts and a multitude of perspectives on psycho-social circumstances in different cultures and on world issues across the globe.
With the heaviness of Rock and the catchiness of Pop, Blue Moon begins this musical dialogue with their hit single "See The Way" - a song inspired by Annie Leonard's mini-documentary "Story of Stuff" - an eye opening call to change the linear path of consumerism into one that can sustain our needs and our planet.
