Blue Moose Party

Blue Moose Party is a new project. We just finished our first CD together. We focus on creating original music with good melodies, tasteful harmonies, and lyrics that are important to us. In live performances, we also like to reinterpret some of our favorite songs by artists, like the Beatles, David Bowie, Stevie Wonder, Elvis Costello, Neil Young, and the Dead.
Uneq'ka has been singing in her rich, warm tone throughout her current life and perhaps several past lives. She is a singer, poet, MC, producer, teacher, and founder of the Cure Foundation. She has toured regionally with groups like BGOTI(Bad Girls of the Industry). Everything and More, and Blaq Dawn, and collaborated with many artists.
Brian is a guitarist and songwriter who also plays with Insignificant Others, a Chicago band that has played in clubs like Wise Fool's Pub, Schuba's, The Store, The Lyon's Den and other venues.
Jacob is a gifted, melodically inventive, expressive vocalist and composer who also has a rich musical history, including singing in some outstanding and renowned gospel and r&b groups.
