"Fantastic"

"FANTASTIC! This group is fantastic. I live in Minneapolis and I have heard this group. 'California' and 'Life Force' are awesome tunes. The entire CD ('Life Force'; first release) is great. If the right person hears these guys they will be on tour soon. Kind of like a cross between Dylan and Clampton. Great lyrics and guitar work." - Greg Harchysen, Mpls Music Critic - Minneapolis Music Critic

Steve draws from personal experiences of love, pain, grief and enlightenment, he demonstrates a powerful artistic statement that runs the gamut of human emotion. What sets Steve Davis apart from other artists is his ability to perform solo or with his band Blue Sage, a virtuoso group of musicians that includes:

James Behringer, world class guitar player who has recorded with such greats as Bonnie Raitt, Prince, Bobby Caldwell, Laura Branigan, Karen White, Jeff Lorber, Clementine, The Steeles and Kitaro.

Gordy Knudtson, first-call session drummer in the Minneaplis area as well as touring and recording drummer with 'The Steve Miller Band'.

Bassist Gordy Johnson has performed with blues great Roy Buchanan, Chuck Mangione and Paul Winter Consort. A diverse player, his style can range from rock to blues to jazz.

Here is what some people have to say about Steve and the band.
