Hip-hop artist Blue-Shakespeare, has released the “Pre-Cum: The Mixtape.” The 19 track project is now available for download and streaming. The mixtape includes both freestyles and original tracks.
Blue-Shakespeare grew up writing poetry. When he was 12 years old, he heard Jay-Z’s “Jigga That Ni**a” song which inspired him to start making music. Raised in a neighborhood where many often turned to the street life, he saw things differently. He believed there was no way out but fortune or fame so he started focusing on perfecting his music. Taking his life experiences, Blue Shakespeare infuses them into his lyrics. His musical influences include Tupac, Nas, Biggie, DMX, Jay-Z, Eminem and Jadakiss which have inspired him to make quality music.
