Influenced by many decades of great music, from the 1920’s to present, Blue Stone Suite quickly found their voice with a cool brand of rock fused with elements of paper, rock and scissors. The songs are tightly crafted, energetic and positive; reflecting the attitudes of the players: Josh Alsip, the mysterious stranger from the Amazon, founding member and primary corrupter of American dialect. Josh is also known for his jungle-style bare-knuckle boxing which translates well into his style of pulse manipulation. John Hebbeler, the manic professor, machinist of deeper thoughts, keeper of the secret formula to B2S. It is believed that John spent his formative years studying with bass monks in the Carpathian Alps; a dauntless master of the thicker stringed instruments and tireless slayer of Romanian Nosferatu. Nathan Beiersdorfer, el mariachi, on a mission to settle a score with someone, anyone, everyone. His song can be soft and sweet or exclaimed brightly but always toxic. His guitars, Kampa and Quino, have been faithful companions on his many journeys and their intimate friendship continues to bloom into clever licks.

Check out Blue Stone Suite's new EP, Karate Practice! Recorded with Matt Hueneman at Sound Images studio (John Legend, Gnarls Barkley, Simple Plan, Sarah McLachlan) and mastered down in Houston by Ty Tabor at Alien Beans Studio (King's X, The Jelly Jam, Platypus).
