Blue Veil is made up of three brothers: Jeff, Phill and Donny Smith. Each member has a strong voice in the creation of their original music. The collaborative writing process ensures their diverse musical voices blend to form a powerful and unique sound.

The band’s sound is as progressive and dynamic as their history. Their music is a fusion of sounds, which is influenced by rock, punk, jazz, blues, and latin music, to create a unique style of their own.

With deep roots in rock & blues every creation they have completed and performed demonstrates what Blue Veil is all about – ‘heart and soul’. Together, they possess positive imagery and a true talent which dominates the stage.

Since the band's inception in 2005, Blue Veil has managed to generate much excitement in a short period of time, there powerful performance dominates the stage with driving rhythms that parallel their motivation to perform and entertain the masses.

In 2006, while on tour Blue Veil performed for a collective estimated audience of over 45,000.

Blue Veil is currently helping with the establishment of 'Sara Elizabeth Centre', a non-profit organization that focuses on the arts, primarily music. Through this co-operation, Blue Veil is continuously being exposed to thousands of children, teens and adults.

In 2006, Blue Veil released their long awaited full-length CD entitle “Leap of Faith”. As songwriters, one of their greatest accomplishments has been to compose and produce all the songs that are included in the CD (Leap of Faith) that conveys a positive message of life and faith.

In this short time, the band has begun to establish themselves as one of the most prominent “Rock” bands with a Christian undertone. Blue Veil has also been featured on a number of television stations such as TLN Television, Salt+Light Television, & 530AM Radio, which recently featured a 2-hour show to interview and promote their work.

The foundation of their fast pace success comes from years of experience, playing and performing for venues, such as the Opera House, Lee's Palace, El Macombo, Mana Bar, The Pheonix, CNE World Youth Day, Nathan Phillip Square’s World Youth Day Reunion, Kathedral, and Jeff Healy Bar, where they have played with bands and artists like Jeff Healy and Chocolate.

They have also produced an EP entitled “Sounds of Christmas” that promotes the true meaning of Christmas. Their dedication and tireless work ethic have reflected in their valuable contributions to the charity and the band, making them a guiding light to many young people of today. Ultimately, they will continue to do what it takes to succeed and touch people of all ages with their gift of music.
