Bio

In a galaxy far far away while on stage performing Shakespeare, Boback met Gnter Schulz and En Esch (of KMFDM). .....................
In 2001 En Esch and Guenter formed Slick Idiot and invited Boback to sing on their new album release Dicknity (Cleopatra Records). Dicknity spawned a popular club remix by Loopy of Hansel and Greytal FAME, Merci Beaucoup in which Boback tantalizes clubbers with a naughty little hook. Dicknity spawned the Remix albulm 'Redickoulous' in 2002. In 2004 'Slick' flew Boback back down to Schulzs studio to collaborate again on their next release Screwtinized (Itchy Records). In 2005 Bobacks singles 'Sunlight and I Once Fell which are written by Boback, were produced and featured the talents of Gnter Schulz.
Boback's guitar style started with punk rock on a true vintage 69 strat, which somehow melted into a classical guitar preference. Her vocals went from rock to industrial and dance, and has settled on some fence between, soul, rock and jazz. Any one of Bobacks songs can be melted into a yummy pot of dance culture while still maintaining the intensity and soul of which it was written.

When the club mix of 'Merci Beaucoup' hit the clubs in New York it earned Michelle the title of 'vocal siren' (see lollipop review). Boback continues to work with a variety of musicians from the US and Canada. Boback has been known to engage the audience with props and lyrical fascinations. Never the same show twice, she cultivates musicians to constantly evolve her live shows.

Boback is also a respected member of the film community in Vancouver. Her first lead role in Creepy Six Films' 'Torched' (released 'Hell Hath No Fury') as the emotionally turmoiled 'Deanna' is now a horror cult hit.
