Original Country Music that will reach your every emotion!!

Biography

BobbiLynn Bio (Band Bios Follows)
Born and raised in Roseburg Oregon, BobbiLynn's first interest in music and singing began when she was 8 years old. She dressed up in 'vintage' clothing she had found in the garage attic and she would wail away to all of the neighborhood cats. Unfortunately, they wouldn't stick around too long. BobbiLynn's mother, Ruth, was an avid music fan so the house would ring with the country sounds of Loretta Lynn, Buck Owens, Elvis Presley and many others. Loretta Lynn inspired BobbiLynn as a young child and as an adult today. Recently BobbiLynn was invited to perform at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, absolutely a ‘dream come true’! Aside from the many new friends and fans she gained, BobbiLynn’s performance and original country music was so well received, she will be performing there frequently!
BobbiLynn is a creative writer of music and lyrics. As a teen she dabbled in comedy, acting and writing. As a young adult she wrote several theatrical plays and a novel. As an adult BobbiLynn tried her hand at acting and television commercials. She also wrote ad copy for, produced and performed in radio commercials.
BobbiLynn has been featured in several state and national magazines for her talent, including the 'Entertainer' and 'Singer' magazines. She has countless newspaper articles regarding her performances and talent, thus tracking her career. She participated in several live Television and Radio interviews. BobbiLynn has performed both solo and with several bands throughout her career. BobbiLynn has performed and worked with Motown veteran Mike Valvano. She participated in the Jimmie Dean True Value Showcase and The Spirit Of Country Opera Showcase. BobbiLynn has performed throughout the United States. Experience includes television, radio, benefits, fairs, rodeos, festivals, resorts, company parties, weddings, theaters, and lounges.
For ten years BobbiLynn produced, hosted and performed on 'Spotlight', an Oregon cable television variety program. BobbiLynn created Spotlight with the assistance of her sister Theresa Stanley, her children Melanie and Daniel and many volunteers. Very well known entertainers appeared on the program along with some 'not so very well known' artists. That was the idea behind the program, to give everyone an opportunity to experience television and display their talents. The program also served as an outreach to those who were less fortunate in the surrounding communities.
BobbiLynn has received many public acknowledgements, certificates and awards for her dedication and generosity assisting those who are less fortunate, 'homeless' citizens, persons in medical need and persons with special needs. She has been an active advocate most of her adult life.
Currently BobbiLynn is participating in television (CBS & ABC affiliate), radio and newspaper interviews promoting her cd, ‘BobbiLynn, Halfway Home’ ‘Halfway Home’ was released September 13, 2005 under the Midland Record label in Nashville, Tennessee. ‘Halfway Home’ was produced by Bobby G Rice and co-produced by BobbiLynn. The original songs on ‘Halfway Home’ were written by BobbiLynn and her co-writing partner Jeffrey Jon Hays from Austin, Minnesota.
The BobbiLynn Band will be touring this spring and summer promoting their cd and radio airplay. All songs on ‘Halfway Home’ are receiving radio airplay throughout the US as well as overseas!! Lyrics

Can't Get A Handle On You

Written By: White/Hays BMI

Baby, when I'm feeling lonely
Don't act like you don't know me
Ya know I can't take that from you
Why you wanna make me feel blue?
If your lips would only meet mine
I know everything will be fine
but baby until they do
I need an answer or two

Others are holdin' their babies tight
but you keep slippin' away
hon, one lonely night you're gonna' see the light
And I'm gonna' get ya to stay...yay...yay...yay

I may be losin' sleep and cryin'
But I'm gonna keep on tryin'
Well, that's about all I can do
When I can't get a handle on you

I'm so tired of playin' your games
still my desire for you ain't changed
I might be burnin' for you
But ya got a lot of learnin' to do

I thought I taught ya all I could
But you keep showin' me that you're no good
If I open up the door
I'm afraid of what you may have in
store

Others are holdin' their babies tight
but you keep slippin' away
hon, one lonely night you're gonna' see the light
And I'm gonna' get ya to stay...yay...yay...yay

So, baby let your sweet lips kiss me
Don't call it quits or still resist me
Now what's a poor girl to do
When she can't get a handle on you

Others are holdin' their babies tight
but you keep slippin' away
hon, one lonely night you're gonna' see the light
And I'm gonna' get ya to stay...yay...yay...yay

Baby, when I'm feelig lonely
Don't act like you don't know me
Ya know I can't take that from you
Why you wanna make me feel blue?
If your lips would only meet mine
I know everything will be fine
but baby until they do
I need an answer or two

Now what's a poor girl to do
When she can't get a handle on you
Now what's a poor girl to do
When she can't get a handle on you

Lovesick Cowgirls

Written By: White /Hays BMI

Well, I've played my share of honky tonks from Wells Creek out east to the broncs
From Minneapolis down to Baton Rouge
I've thrived in dives and scored some points
And gotten drunk in the best juke joints
If nothing else I've kept myself amused
Well, I never thought there'd be a day when I'd run out of songs to play
But once you left I didn't know what to do
So, when my heads a hangin' low that Country twang's the way to go
I know my cowboy boots will see my through

Dancin' ain't no sin my friend, I hate to break the news
I'll dance until I've ruined these rawhide shoes
So, if you hear a loud noise don't be dazed or confused
Sometimes lovesick cowgirls dance away their blues

We' sister don't you get me wrong, I love those old heartache songs
Long as I'm in that kind of mood
But I won't waste my time and tears at some joint cryin' in my beer
Just tryin' to unwind 'til I'm unglued

So, next time that old juke is on and I find my true love is gone
Ya might just hear a brand new kinda' tune
It may not be too soft or slow 'cause dancin' is the way to go
I'm gonna' sing and dance away my gloom

Dancin' ain't no sin my friend, I hate to break the news
I'll dance until I've ruined these rawhide shoes
So, if you hear a loud noise don't be dazed or confused
Sometimes lovesick cowgirls dance away their blues

Dancin' ain't no sin my friend, I hate to break the news
I'll dance until I've ruined these rawhide shoes
So, if you hear a loud noise don't be dazed or confused
Sometimes lovesick cowgirls dance away their blues

My Heart Still Belongs to You

Written By: White/Hays BMI

It's time that I was leavin'
Though you don't want me to go
You know I just can't stay all evening
Still there is something you should know
When I have gone with the dawns first light
I'll still be thinking of you
Although it's time that we should say goodnight
There's so much left for us to do

We have a lot of love to share
I'm sure you know how much I care
I really hate to say goodnight
It won't be long we'll meet again
I'll keep you in my dreams 'til then
So this time we can make things right

The times upon us now for our goodbyes
It's not an easy thing to do
There's one thought I hope you realize
That my heart still belongs to you

The times upon us now for our goodbyes
It's not an easy thing to do
There's one thought I hope you realize
That my heart still belongs to you

That my heart still belongs to you
That my heart still belongs to you
That my heart still belongs to you
