Pop, R&B, Contemporary and Acoustic with a hint of Blues is the sound that provides the canvas for a word painted picture that represents love, life, and the social issues thereof. Pair this with a top 40 sound and his future in music sounds very promising. Whether performing for a large audience or an intimate group, Bobby Dapper is sure to inspire and touch someone with his unique story and charisma. The son of a Rock n Roll guitarist, Robert Knight was born in Gary, Indiana, home of Michael Jackson, and The Jackson 5. His musical journey began at Emerson School for the Visual Performing Arts, which he attended throughout middle school and high school. During his time at Emerson he had the opportunity to major in music, discover his vocal talent, learn multiple instruments, and even develop a cool nick name (Bobby Dapper) that represents his fashion forward sense of style.

Influenced by some of the greatest musical acts in the industry such as Sade, Prince, Madonna, Rihanna, The Beatles, Kanye West and Michael Jackson; Robert Knight began to discover his ideal image and identity as a performing artist during his career at Emerson School for the Visual and Performing  Arts. Since then he has been collaborating with multiple producers from L.A and the Chicago area to create a unique sound that will serve as the backdrop to a story that will touch the hearts of many listeners.

Currently finishing up his debut E.P "Entrance", Bobby Dapper is scheduling to bring his brilliant energy to the stages of the local music scene in Chicago, Indianapolis, and to a stage near you very soon.
