Bobby Clark is a wonderful performer who gets into the music he sings. He makes sure that you are not only going to enjoy his music but his shows. He's not a performer who stands around and just sings. With his upbeat stage personality he gets the audience involved in his music.

Quote from Scott Murray Bate:

QUOTE:
"In my 20 plus years in the radio business, I have watched a lot of local and regional talent come and go. Bobby Clark is one of those that has mystified me. How could this guy be so powerfully talented, with the energy he has, and the passion for music he bleeds, yet still be small enough potatoes to be playing small clubs? Bobby Clark is the real deal, I recognized that immediately, and eventually some wise label will do likewise."

Many radio stations have had Bobby in the Studio for interviews and played his music.

Quote:" Bobby is just as at home in the studio as he is on stage." Either way, he knows what he wants from his band and he makes it happen. It hasn't been "work" when working with Bobby in the studio, it's been a real pleasure. It's his recordings that I that I pull up to impress potential studio or production clients.... Some reviews!

Moody!
I loved the mood right from the outset. The guitar has that great bluesy sound and your lyrics mesh in nicely. Great use of the female backing. Nice and spare and well executed.
I think this will be the first time I've complained that a song's NOT long enough. I was just getting into it and it ended! Nothing like leaving a girl wanting more!
This song cruises along beautifully. The vocals are understated but perfectly apt for the words and sentiment being sung. I'm a fan. Great chorus, I really like the lyrics. "A little comfort in the darkness" - geez, you've really set the mood for that line.
Very, very nice work, what more can I say?

Moody, sexy and stylish
This song is dripping with atmosphere, that bluesy guitar riff against the smooth organ is oh, so sweet. The breathiness of the singer's voice is perfect for the overall moodiness of the song, that droopy-eyed delivery that has an urgeny, yet a nonchallance at the same time. The electric guitar plays some very tasty riffs all the way through, with a sound and style that is reminiscent of Mark Knopfler, really good stuff. Very understated, always complementing the vocal line instead of stepping on it. Well done. The organ part is also very well done, some very nice licks at the end of the song, and from the beginning it establishes a nice bed for the vocals to lay on. This song proves that less is more, with it's simple production, it accomplishes exactly what it set out to do.

A really nice and different beat
The groove got right to you , right from the start and pulled you in. The John Cougar type vocal was right on the money. You could tell the singer was ver

Bio

Bobby Clark is doing what he does best, making great music. Hailing from the outskirts of Evansville, IN, he grew up in the belly of the heartland rock world and the songs live up to the lineage. Bobby has lived the life often sung about in his music. The son of a preacher, a man that has made his living of hard work, someone who has clashed with the law and society, Bobby has a song and opinion about every topic.

A believer in hard work and sweaty Midwestern bar rock, he has honed his craft of writing memorable and catchy rock songs over the years with hundreds of shows under his belt.
With a catalog of over 200 songs, he has come to the attention of Midwestern rock lovers nationally and globally as his reviews on Garageband. com prove. Most notably he came to the attention of rocker John Mellencamp who purchased one of his rootsy, rocking songs "Grandview" for a future CD release.

The song tells the all too common story of people in southern Indiana who just want to live a comfortable life rather than one of affluence and the conflict that desire creates.

Bobby released a new CD in May 2008 Titled "Between You And God". These 16 songs are a mixture of life itself and the stories that follow the experience, and can be related to by anyone.

The live shows are where Bobby's musical wit and magic come alive. Audiences that see Bobby Clark for the first time come away with a relationship that will last, and the experience of hearing songs that bring out all sides of the adventure we call life.
