Lyrics

THE BRIDGE

Written By: Bobby Field

Hey you
I want to tell you something
Hey you
I want to give you something
Hey you
I'd have to hurt someone
Hey you
Don't want to break someone

Tell me tell me what do I have to say
Tell me tell me what do I have to be
Tell me tell me what do I have to do to cross the bridge that leads to you

Hey you
Don't want to fall apart now
Hey you
Don't go and break my heart now

Tell me tell me what do I have to say
Tell me tell me what do I have to be
Tell me tell me what do I have to do to cross the bridge that leads to you

REMEMBER WHEN

Written By: Bobby Field

Sitting in the old oak tree
Summer skies roll by
The way life was meant to be
A childhood lullaby

Remember when
You held my hand
Without a care in the world

But Somehow I feared the light
That shined out from your eyes
It could warm the sun
And even at the age of ten
I found myself wondering
Do you remember when?

For six more years you put up with me
And all the games I played
You made it clear that you were there for me
But I was too afraid

Remember when
You held my hand
Without a care in the world

The thunder cracked and I pulled back
And I went way off track
You remained the sun
But then I saw you kissing him
And couldn’t help but wondering
Do you remember when?

Remember when
You held my hand
Without a care in the world

The years went by while I got high
I let the heavens cry
And cover up the sun
And now I sit hear pondering
Will I ever get you back again
Do you remember when?

THINKING

Written By: Bobby Field

Here we go again
Trying to break apart
It’s never easy
To starve a hungry heart
& I’ve tried running blind in the dark
Still I still kept thinking of you

It’s for the best
To close down for repair
What of the love
And the dreams we share?
& I’ve tried keeping… keeping it all inside
I thought of nothing but you

Here we go again
Just hold on my friend
Here we go again
Thinking and thinking

There’s no conflict
No animosity
It’s just the way
The way it needs to be
Now I’ve tried singing… to let it all hang out
I still can’t stop thinking of you

Here we go again
Just hold on my friend
Here we go again
Thinking and thinking

We’ve tried running blind in the dark
I’ll always be thinking of you

Here we go again
Just hold on my friend
Here we go again
Thinking and thinking

HELP ME BREATHE

Written By: Bobby Field

There goes a part of me
Not sure if she noticed me
I’ve loved her from the very start
She’s the one that holds my heart

There goes a part of me
My only path to serenity
If only I could find a way
To tell her that I feel this way

Oh… Help me breathe

There goes a part of me
The best of what is left of me
Not sure if she feels the same
Or, if my head is playing games

There goes a part of me
The rest of who I want to be
If I could only tell her so
At least I’d know if I should let it go

Oh… Help me breathe
Oh… Please… Help me breathe
